Terms and Conditions:

  • Purchased games must not exceed 14 days after purchase.

  • In-app purchase (microtransaction) outside of Steam service is non-refundable

Terms and Conditions:

  • Purchased games must not exceed 14 days after purchase.
  • Purchased games do not exceed 2 hours of play duration.
  • In-app purchase (microtransaction) outside of Epic Games service is non-refundable.
  • The refund process is cancelled if you are detected banned from the game.
  • Games purchased but later discounted may be refunded. The process is the same as on Steam where you have to do a full refund process first and then report purchase the game.
  • Refunds will be transferred to the previously selected payment method. For example, if you use PayPal, it will be returned there. This process will take some time.

Refund Stages:

  1. Sign in to your EGS account with the game you want to restore.
  2. Click your profile name on a webpage or program, then select the “Manage Account” option.
  3. Select the “Transaction” option or often also named “Payment History”
  4. Select the game you want to restore.
  5. If you are eligible, a “Request Refund” option will appear.
  6. Select the reason for returning the game, then click confirm.
  7. You will get a confirmation email and the refund process will be processed immediately.

How to Request an Origin Refund

Terms and Conditions:

  • Refunds can be made 24 hours after the game is first launched.
  • If not played at all, the game can be refunded 14 days after purchase.
  • If purchased before release (pre-order), the refund process can only be submitted within 14 days after the release date.
  • If the new game release you purchased turns out to have any technical problems beyond EA’s knowledge, the refund application period can be increased to 72 hours from the original 24 hours.
  • In certain cases, game purchases on Origin special promotions are non-refundable.
  • Certain editions of games containing virtual currency may fall into the category of games that cannot be refunded.

Refund Stages:

  1. Log in to your Origin account and visit the Order History page.
  2. Select the Game you want to restore.
  3. Select the “Request Refund” Option.

  • DLC, consumables, virtual money, and other in-game stores are not refundable
  • The purchase of games from other distributor platforms (steam, EGS, etc.) must begin the refund process from their respective vendors.
  • Returns of unleaded games (pre-orders) can only be made before the game’s release date.

  3. Select the “Ask for a Refund” Option.
  4. Fill out the form in full.
  5. Refunds will be processed, refunds will be refunded according to the payment method.

How to Refund Game Playstation (PS4, PS5)

Terms and conditions:

  • The game, DLC, and Season Pass can be refunded 14 days after purchase provided they haven’t been downloaded, streamed, let alone played.
  • In-game items/consumables will only be applied when you launch the game, so if you have not launched the game for the last 14 days, in-game items/consumables can be refunded. If an in-game item purchase is made in-game (example: FIFA pack), the purchase is non-refundable as it is transferred directly to the game.
  • Pre-orders can be processed as long as it is within 14 days after the transaction, and also the game has not been downloaded or streamed at all.
  • Game bundles can be restored, again as long as they haven’t been downloaded or streamed.
    Subscriptions can be refunded even when the service is active, but refunds will be deducted depending on how long the service has been active.

  2. Click Refund Chatbot yes
  3. Once the chat window appears, click “Refund Request”
  4. Choose “I’m Ready”
  5. You will be asked about various things ranging from PSN IDs to games that you want to restore, don’t forget to record your Support ID just in case

Although Nintendo stated that, many gamers admit that they managed to refund at least once, namely through Customer Support. So if you make an accidental purchase or other reasonable reason, there may be one chance from Nintendo CS to process the refund, but it also cannot be the exact benchmark.
